Joe Alice Russell Davison

Joe Alice Russell Davison, 67, of Hilltop Drive, died Monday, Dec. 25, 2006, at Lexington Health Care. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Jeff Kelly. Burial will be in Russell Cemetery in Annona, Texas. Mrs. Davison was born Aug. 3, 1939, in Red River County, Texas, to Joe Edd Russell and Alice Celestial Parchman Russell. She was an employee of Mary Kay Cosmetics and a member of Lexington Church of Christ. She attended Steven F. Austin University. Her parents and a son, Travis Russell Davison, preceded her in death. Surviving are a son, Claude Edward Davison and his wife, Amy, of Lexington; a daughter, Celestial Swing and her husband, Jeff, of Lexington; six grandchildren, Josh Davison and Jake Davison, both of Clarksville, Texas, and Kali Swing, Dallas Swing, Kelsey Davison and Lindsay Davison, all of Lexington; one great-grandchild, Chelsey Davison of Clarksville, Texas; two brothers, Kyle Russell of Annona, Texas, and Mike Russell and his wife, Pam, of Paris, Texas; a sister, Margaret Davis and her husband, Bobby, of Abilene, Texas; and a special friend, Lee "Buddy" Andrews of Lexington. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Wednesday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington, and other times at the residence.
