Joe Crews Flynt

Joe Crews Flynt age 77, of Clemmons passed away Wednesday August 10, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Mr. Flynt was born September 6, 1933 in Forsyth County to Robert Ray Flynt and Beulah Hill Flynt. He was owner and operator of Brookbank & Stone Roofing – Remodeling. He was a member of Cedar Dale Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers; Conrad Flynt, George Flynt, Hoke Flynt. Joe is survived by his wife Nancy Williams Flynt of the home, his brothers; Robert Jr. Flynt of North Wilkesboro, Roy Flynt (Mona) of Yadkinville, Wilson Flynt (Sally), Samuel Flynt and Howard Flynt (June) all of Winston Salem, his sisters; Louise Cooper of Winston Salem and Mae Burcham of Yadkinville; his nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, send memorials to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. “Earth has no sorrow.
