Joe Dean Walser

Joe Dean Walser, age 75, of Old Mill Farm Road, passed away peacefully Monday, July 27, 2020 at his home, with his family by his side.

A private funeral service is planned at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel.

Mr. Walser will lie in state from 5:00-7:00 PM, on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at the funeral home.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be limits to follow as no more than 50 people may be in the building at one time and must wear a mask and use social distancing of 6 feet.

He fought a brave battle with multiple health issues but, never complained. Joe loved hunting, fishing and all outdoor activities.

Mr. Walser was born on May 9, 1945 to Murphy and Helen Walser.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Surviving are his son, Tracy Walser (Serena) of Lexington; sisters, Ruby Leonard (Bernard), Gayle Moorefield and brother, Ralph Walser all of Lexington; and two grandchildren, Reid Daniels and Kristian McKay; special aunt, Paige Bailey of Lexington and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
