Joe Franklin Williams, age 52 of Welcome passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2013. A memorial service will be held 5:00 pm Saturday at Heaven’s Gate Full Gospel Church, 100 Rolling Park Dr. Lexington, NC 27295 with Pastor Ken Norman. The family will receive friends after the service. Joe was born March 18, 1961 in Davidson County to Walter “Pete” Glenn Williams and Eveline Karl Williams. He was an employee with Lexington Furniture. He was preceded in death by his father. Surviving are his mother, sons; Chris Glenn Williams (Jenna Boyle) of Winston Salem, Josef Ryan Williams of Lexington, brothers; Randall Glenn (Hoss) Williams, Michael (Bubba) Williams, sisters; Sindy Williams Benson (Ronny), Diana Lynn Williams Gregory (Tony) all of Lexington, grandchild; Nautica Boyle, nieces; Erica Sowers Walser, Kathryn Clay Tripp, Megan Williams Baker, great nieces and nephews; Jessica Wright and Hannah Wright Peyton Walser, Alaina Garlow, Porter Walser. In lieu of flowers send memorials to Heaven’s Gate 100 Rolling Park Drive, Lexington, NC 27295. Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
