Joetta Tussey Mcgee

Joetta Tussey McGee, age 88 of Lexington passed away Sunday, August 30, 2020 at Abbotts Creek.

A service to celebrate her life will be 4pm Thursday, September 3, 2020 at Shiloh United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Dave Kelly. The family will see friends on  the front porch of the church after the service and at other times at the home of her daughter.

Mrs. McGee was born January 1, 1932 in Davidson County to Clifton Lee Tussey and Mildred Koontz Tussey. She retired as a bookkeeper with RJR. Her parents; her husband, Glenn Harvey McGee and a special friend, Jim Atkins all preceded her in death.

Surviving are her daughter, Jaime Swicegood (David) of Lexington; her son, Joel McGee (Pameka) of Selma; her seven grandchildren; a sister, Sue Bates of Lexington; a brother, Bob C. Tussey of Florida.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff of Abbotts Creek for their love and care of Mrs. McGee.
