Joey Leon Grubb

Joey Leon Grubb, age 58 of Oakwood Circle, Lexington passed away Tuesday morning at St. Alexius Medical Center in Bismarck, ND after a sudden illness. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday at Shiloh United Methodist Church where he was a member, with Rev. Benny Clodfelter officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Thursday. Joey was born in Davidson County, November 6, 1954 to H. Leo and Willie Mae Beck Grubb. He was the project coordinator for Ferguson Enterprises. He was preceded in death by his parents. Joey is survived by his wife, Wanda Bailey Grubb; son, Justin Daniel Grubb (Kendall) of Old Hickory, TN; sister, Teresa Lynch (Rivers) of Myrtle Beach, SC; brother, Tom Grubb (Elaine) of Fayetteville, NC; mother-in-law, Clara Mae Bailey of Lexington, NC; brother and sister-in-law, Shane Bailey (Lisa) of Lexington, NC; sister and brother-in-law, Roxanne (Richard) Watson of Lexington, NC; nieces, Tara Gaillard (Shay) of Charleston, SC, Te-Anne Cahill (John) of Conway, SC, Tai Fisher (John) of Charleston, SC, Taylor Jeffcoat Brandon of Lexington, SC, Megan Bailey of Lexington, NC; nephews, Chris and Bradley Watson, Dillon Bailey all of Lexington, NC.
