Joey Queen

Joseph "Joey" Yates Queen, 68, passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at home.

A Funeral service will be held Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 4 PM, at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington, with Reverend Mark Rachels officiating.  The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the service from 3-4 PM. Burial will follow at a later date.

Joey was born November 24, 1954, in Virginia to Joseph Yates Queen Sr. and Dabney Ruth Jessup Queen. He owned and operated Crazy Joe’s Outlet in Lexington. He loved to travel, gamble, and he truly enjoyed life. He is preceded in death by his parents along with his brother, Glynn Queen. He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his wife, Kristin Legare; his daughters, Holly Queen, Sophia Legare, and Kylie Legare; sons-in-law, Charles Vaughn and Tanner Sanders; one grandchild, Colin Vaughn; and his brothers, Eugene Queen, and Wayne Queen.
