John Berrier

John Wade Berrier, Jr. 62 of John W. Berrier Road passed away Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. A memorial service was held at 2:00 pm Monday, January 24 at Pilgrim Lutheran Church with the Rev. Craig Saltzer and the Rev. Gerald Sanders officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church and other times at the home of Kay and Larry Cooper, 2433 Leonard Road, Lexington. Mr. Berrier was born on August 21, 1948 in Davidson County to John Wade Berrier, Sr. and Dorothy Lee Whitaker Berrier. He was a member of Beck’s Reformed Church and worked at Atrium Windows & Doors. Surviving are his son Michael Berrier and wife Kimberly of Pikeville, NC; a grandson Jack Berrier of Pikeville; sisters Betty B. Hedrick and husband Jerry and Sheila Kay Cooper and husband Larry all of Lexington. Memorials may be directed to a charity of the donor’s choice.
