John Berrier

June 1, 1926 — November 2, 2007

John Berrier, 81 of Becky Hill Road died Friday evening at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem after a sudden illness. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, November 5, 2007 at Shiloh United Methodist Church. Rev. Matthew Farabow will conduct the service, burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Berrier was born June 1, 1926 in Davidson County to Artis Berrier and Mary Lou Kepley Berrier. He was a life-long member of Shiloh United Methodist Church, where he had previously served on the board of trustees. Mr. Berrier was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. He worked as a farmer and carpenter with Berrier Construction. Mr. Berrier was preceded in death by a brother Harold Berrier. Surviving are his wife Paige Perryman Berrier of the home, two sons, Terry Berrier and fiancé Susan Gordon, and Tim Berrier and wife Beverly; two brothers R.J. Berrier and Homer Berrier and wife Sudie, all of Lexington; four grandchildren Tamara Augustyn and husband Jim, Trent Berrier, Brent Berrier and Clay Berrier; a great-grandchild Heath Augustyn; sister-in-laws Trulie Berrier, and Ruby Ball and husband Wilbert, and a family friend Brenda Berrier. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Sunday at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington and at other times at the home. Memorials may be made to; Shiloh United Methodist Church, 943 North NC Highway 150, Lexington, NC 27295.
