John Michael Choplin

Mike Choplin, age 71 of Bishop Gate Road died Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Forsyth Medical Center.

A private celebration of life will be held at Grace Baptist Church.

Mr. Choplin was born June 17, 1950, in Yadkin County to John Wesley Choplin and Della Ruth Choplin. Mike’s passion for life came from spending time with his loving wife and devoting any additional time with his grandchildren and was a member of Grace Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, and a brother; Steve Choplin.

Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Maranville Choplin of the home, son James Choplin (Missy), daughter Jennifer Bailey (Mickey), brother Joe Choplin (Carolyn), sisters; Brenda Boyd (Granvel), Kathy Jester (Barry), Mary Ball (Fred), sister in-law, Janet Choplin, five grandchildren; Justin, Jalen, Austin, Lauren, Brandon, two great grandchildren; Owen, Easton and a host of nieces and nephews.
