John Clodfelter

John Archie Clodfelter born January 27,  1935 to  Lloyd and Kila Black Clodfelter died on July 7, 2022.  He was a kind and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. His greatest joy in life was his love for Christ, his wife of 68 years, and his 4 daughters.

He drove a tractor trailer for 20 years with McClean Trucking company. He was a church care taker at Midway United Methodist for many years devoting his time and his Christian faith to his church. In later years he worked part-time for Motsinger Precast Products.  The love he had for his church and it’s members will be something everyone who knew him will always remember.

John was an avid wood worker and was so proud of the beautiful furniture that he made.

John was predeceased by his oldest daughter, Robin Branson and her husband, Kim Branson, as well as a sister, Nora Helen Morris and her husband, Fred.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 68 years, Carlene Foust Clodfelter, daughters, Rhonda Dillon (Johnny), Ree Smith (late husband, Morty Smith) and Rosalie Perrell (Keith), brother, Kenneth Clodfelter (Judy), 9 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.

A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
