John Wayne Darr

John Wayne Darr, age 56 of Piedmont drive, Lexington passed away Friday, June 30, 2017 at his home after a period of declining health. A celebration of his life will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Fairview United Methodist Church in Thomasville with Rev. Joel Bartz officiating. The family will greet friends in the fellowship hall following the service. John was born in Guilford County, NC April 8, 1961 to Charles Franklin Darr and Minnie Yvonne Hege Darr. He was a former employee Highland Container of High Point and Atrium Windows and Doors in Welcome. John enjoyed college football, car racing, outside activities such as walking and hiking western movies and especially his two grandsons and children. He was preceded in death by his parents.
