John Desroches Jr.

Jean Pierre “ John” Desroches Jr., 51, of Lexington, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2025.  Born on December 9, 1973, in Berlin, VT, he lived a life filled with purpose and love.

John dedicated his career to working as a diesel mechanic, later transitioning to a role as a Welder with Matcor. His commitment and skill in his trade were well-regarded by his colleagues.

Beyond his professional life, John's heart belonged to his family and his daughter, Raya Leigh Desroches. He cherished the time they spent together, and she was the light of his life. John's passion for his daughter was evident in everything he did.

He is survived by his loving mother, Carol Sullivan of Trinity; and his sisters, Tina Baldwin of Trinity and Julie Roux of Williamstown, Vermont. He was preceded in death by his father, Jean Pierre Desroches Sr.

John will be remembered for his dedication to his craft, his unwavering love for his daughter, and the positive impact he had on those around him. Though he may be gone, his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
