John Thomas Flynn Jr.

John Thomas Flynn, Jr., 64 of Lexington, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020 at his home.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, December 31 ^st at Reeds United Methodist Church Cemetery.  The family will see friends following the graveside service and other times at the home.  Social distancing and masks are requested.

John was born on August 1, 1956 in Davidson County to John Thomas Flynn, Sr. and Leota Hedrick Flynn.  He retired as a forming for PPG and was a member of Reeds United Methodist Church.  John enjoyed hunting and fishing, but his first love was his family and his granddaughters and they will carry his memory with them in their hearts forever.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Leota Hedrick Flynn.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Patsy Potts Flynn, of the home; daughters, Heather LeAnn Flynn (Candace) of Winston-Salem, Karmen Flynn Rubio (Rogelio) of Lexington; his God daughter; Tia Vences (Cele) of Lexington four granddaughters, Jaydin, Zoey, Macie and Emma Rubio; two God Grandchildren; Christian and Alivia Vences; brother, Johnny Flynn (Debi) of Winston-Salem and sisters, Betty Jean Hill (Terry) of Lexington and Beck Wilmoth (Doug) of East Bend.
