John Hill

John Harvey Hill, 66, of Winston Salem, passed away Monday, January 16, 2023, at his home. Mr. Hill was born June 1, 1956, in Rockingham County, to Billy Joe and Ruby Hill. He was a member of Friedberg Moravian Church and enjoyed woodworking in his free time. John proudly served his country in the United States Marines and remained a very involved veteran for his whole life. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, Chuck Hill. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 42 years, Kris; his mother, Ruby; daughters, Amanda, and Katie; brothers, Welby, and Barney; and sister, Juju. Also surviving are his dedicated furry companions, Sadie, Wiz, Walter, and Theo. There will be no formal services held at this time.
