John Anthony Hudler, 16, of Meadow Trail, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2008 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday January 18 at Midway United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Chip Webb officiating, burial will follow the service in the Midway United Methodist Church Cemetery.
He was born in Forsyth County July 14, 1991 to Anthony “Tony” Hudler and Donna Hudler Jefferson. John was a Junior at North Davidson High School; he loved music, playing the guitar, his car and working out. While a student at North Davidson he participated in Wrestling and Football. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Donald R. Anderson and Veta H. Druck.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandparents Darwin and Helen Hudler (mawmaw and pawpaw), his step-father Phil Jefferson; his sister Reese Jefferson; his great grandmother Helen L. Helms; Donald Druck of Lexington and Debbie Anderson of Advance, his uncles Donald L. Anderson of Winston-Salem and Dwayne Hudler and wife Dawn of Kernersville; and his aunt Kimberly and Steve McMillan of Midway, Greg and Bridget of Orgeon and several cousins.
Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday, January 17 at Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel, and other times at the home of his mother, 387 Grove Park Lane, Lexington.
