John Brooks Knight

John Brooks Knight age 79 of Winston Salem passed away December 21st 2016 at his home.   A graveside service will be held 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 4th 2017 at National Cemetery of Salisbury, N.C. with Pastor Clyde Akers officiating. Military Honors will be presented by the United States Air Force Honor Guard.   No formal visitation will be held.   John was born March 8th 1937 in Henderson NC to Andrew Knight Sr. and Florence Neathery Knight. He was a twenty year veteran with the United States Air Force and had retired from Sherman-Bodie Inc. he was preceded in death by his parents.   Surviving are his wife Mary Reaves Knight of the home, step son; Terry Lee Vance of Clemmons, step daughters; Sonya Woosley (Mike) and Sharon Lynn Rudisil both of Midway, brother; Andrew Knight Jr. (Margaret) of Florida, step grandchildren; Michelle Woosley, Katy Woosley, Kristi Rudisil and Daniel Pilcher.   Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
