John Musten Berrier, 23, of Carlile Drive, died unexpectedly at his home Saturday, Oct. 28, 2006, after a brief illness.
A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Tyro United Methodist Church, where he was a member, by the Revs. Randy Foster and Elise Kennedy.
Mr. Berrier was born Sept. 10, 1983, in Davidson County to Kenneth Myran Berrier and Sherry McCall Berrier. At his church he was active with the youth group. After graduating from West Davidson High School, he attended Davidson County Community College, taking advanced computer classes. Mr. Berrier was employed at Christo's Pizza. He was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents, Mildred and McCoy Berrier.
Surviving are his mother of the home; a brother, Michael Thomas Young and his wife, Kim, of Lexington; a sister, Lezlie Young Loftis and her husband, Scott, of Thomasville; and a nephew, Casey Young.
The family will receive friends at the church after the service on Wednesday and other times at the home on Carlile Drive.
