John Lance Perrell Jr.

John Lance Perrell Jr., 44, of Baby Bear Lane, died Tuesday, August 14, 2012, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, following a serious illness of one month. The funeral will be 3 p.m. Thursday, August 16, 2012, at Reedy Creek Baptist Church, where he was a member, with the Rev. Egbert Craven officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:30 prior to the service at the church and other times at the home of his parents. Mr. Perrell was born June 26, 1968, in Davidson County, to John Lance Perrell Sr. and Gail Mock Perrell. He learned the value of hard work at an early age growing up on the farm and spending time in the outdoors. He was employed as a press printer operator at Exopack. He was preceded in death by a nephew, Jared Perrell. Surviving in addition to his parents of Lexington is his fiance’ Sheila Aikens of Lexington; brothers, Jeff Perrell and wife Christie and Paul Perrell, all of Lexington; sister, Anna Lanier and husband Marty B of Lexington; and nieces and nephew, Rachel Lanier, Sarah Lanier, and Jackson Perrell.
