John Robert Everhart

Mr. John Robert Everhart, 47, of Old Salisbury Road, died Saturday, October 10 at his home after a brief illness. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 14 at Freedom Missionary Baptist Church with Preacher Clyde Akers officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. Mr. Everhart was born August 17, 1962 in Davidson County to Robert Charles Everhart and Mildred Loretta Katen Everhart. He was an employee of PPG and was an ordained minister. He was a member of True Word Baptist Church. His mother preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Betty Lynn Poole Everhart of the home, his sons, Josh Everhart of Roxboro, Chris Sutton, and wife, Kimberly, and Johnatan Sutton, both of Linwood; his daughter, Anna Sutton, of Linwood; his brother, Jamie Everhart and wife, Selina, of Lexington, his sister, Melody Everhart Harvey and her companion, Bud Everhart, of Lexington; his grandchildren, Alexis Sutton and Chelsea Sutton; and his nieces, Alyssa Everhart, Christina Wallace, and husband, Alex, and Rebecca Harvey. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home.
