John Sink, age 75 of J.D. Essick Road, Lexington passed away Wednesday night (January 13, 2010) at Hinkle Hospice House. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday (January 16, 2010 at Pilgrim Reformed Church with Rev. William Sowers and Rev. George Fidler officiating. Burial will follow at Pilgrim Reformed Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:30 in the church parlor Saturday, prior to the service and at other times at the home.
John was born in Davidson County, June 5, 1934 to Mary Reid Sink. He was a member of Pilgrim Reformed Church, retired from Coble Dairy and owner/operator of Sink Greenhouse.
He was preceded in death by his mother and step father Adam F. Everhart.
Surviving are; wife, Peggy Everhart Sink of the home; one daughter, Nell Sink Brake and husband Richard of Lexington; one son, John E. Sink, Jr. and wife Dianne of Lexington; two grand daughters, Sandy Hollingsworth and Amber Sink and one great-grand daughter, Millie Hartley.
