John Marshall Smith

John Marshall Smith, 76, of Cedar Drive, died Wednesday, December 5 at Lexington Medical Center.    A memorial service will be held at 2pm Saturday, December 15 at Freedom Baptist Church, by Pastor Clyde Akers.    Mr. Smith was born December 7, 1941 in Washington, DC to John Hillary Smith and Edna Proctor Smith.  He retired from Fairfax County Schools and was a member of Freedom Baptist Church.  His sister, Mary Coble, preceded him in death.    He is survived by his brother, Jim Smith and wife, Dottie, of Florence, SC; and his nieces and nephews.
