John Henry Sneed, Jr.

John Henry Sneed Jr. 78 of Candlewood Drive, Lexington passed away Monday April 8, 2013 at Lexington Medical Center. A celebration of life will be 2 pm Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at Lighthouse Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Avery Varnadore. The family will be at the home. Mr. Sneed was born December 16, 1934 in Surry County to John Henry Sneed Sr. and Ina Vestal Sneed and was retired from Lank Furniture. His parents and a daughter, Evelyn Clement preceded him in death. He was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are his loving wife, Ruby Brewer Sneed of the home; sons, Terry (Paula) Sneed of Columbia, SC, and Larry (Sandra) Sneed of Welcome; daughter, Lula (Jeff) Ulmer of Lexington, South Carolina; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
