John Terry Berrier

John Terry Berrier, age 79, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2026, at Hinkle Hospice House.

Born on February 16, 1947, in Davidson County, North Carolina, he was the son of the late John and Piage Perryman Berrier. Terry proudly served his country in the United States Army and later dedicated many years of hard work to RJ Reynolds before his retirement. Terry found great joy in time spent with family, he was devoted to serving the church, and cherished peaceful days fishing on the pier at Emerald Isle.

Terry will be remembered as a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He is survived by his son, Trent Berrier; his daughter, Tamara Augustyn and husband Jim; his brother, Tim Berrier and wife Beverly; and his cherished grandson, Heath Augustyn. He also leaves behind his nephews, Brent Berrier and wife Kaitlin, and Clay Berrier and wife Kaitlyn, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Shiloh Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday evening at Davidson Funeral Home.

Terry’s legacy of service, dedication, and love for his family will be cherished for years to come.
