John Thomas Sink, 75, of Sink Farm Road, died Thursday, October 31, 2013, at his home.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Sunday, November 3, 2013, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Howard Baker and Don Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Sandy Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service and other times at the home.
Mr. Sink was born October 12, 1938, in Davidson County, to Fendall Gochenour Sink and Doris Long Sink. He was owner/operator of West Davidson Custom Lumber and had served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of St. Lukes Lutheran Church, the Triad Aeromodelers and an avid volunteer at the Transportation Museum of Spencer. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Surviving are his loving wife, Barbara Snider Sink of the home; son, William Sink and wife Dianne of Lexington; grandchildren, Haley Kendall and AnnaRose Nicole Sink; and a sister, Jane Sink Snider and husband Roger of Lexington.
