Johnnie Rothrock

Johnnie Gray Rothrock, 85, passed away Saturday June 23, 2018 at home with his family at his side.

A funeral service will be 2 pm Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Davidson Funeral Home-Hickory Tree Chapel, by the Revs. Jon White, Rev. Mark Harper and Pastor Andrea Bates.  Burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 pm Tuesday prior to the service.

Mr. Rothrock was born Febuary 21, 1933 in Davidson County to Thomas and Lillie Craver Rothrock. Johnnie was a Marine, serving in the Korean War and was a retired Truck Driver for Spector Red Ball. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Gaynell Myers Rothrock, two brothers, Lewis Rothrock and Bill Rothrock, and three sisters, Mary Reynolds, Louise Snider and Mildred Robbins.      He is survived by his daughter, Tonya Hiatt and husband, Tim, of Winston Salem.

The family would like to say special thanks of love to; Debbie White and Sherrie Nifong, who was considered his “adopted girls”.
