Johnny Jay Galloway

Johnny Jay Galloway, 56, of Clemmons, died, Sunday, June 7, 2026, at his home.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, June 14, 2026, at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel with officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

A native of Davidson County, he was the son of the late Johnny Galloway and the late Lethia Sams Provance. Johnny graduated from North Davidson High School in the class of 1988. He had a strong work ethic and worked as a roofer for many years. Johnny was a fierce provider for his family. His favorite job in life was being a father and grandfather. He loved his family deeply. Johnny was a man of deep faith and had a strong relationship with the Lord, Jesus Christ. He was a beloved son, and because of his faith, he has now been reunited with his loving mother who passed away in 2025.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, Colby Morton; daughter, Kalee Galloway; granddaughters, Lilly Morton and Layla Everhart; step-son, Travis Payne; grandson, S.J. Galloway; sisters, Wendy Bullin and Kelly Peterson; brother, Michael Galloway; and many beloved extended family members and friends.
