Johnny William Louya age 77 passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 21, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Union Grove Baptist Church with Revs. Ken Harris, T. W. Bailey and Dr. Harold Fletcher officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Johnny was born on October 4, 1935 in Davidson County to Rosswell Mosell Louya and Elsie Leo Shaw Louya. He worked in the maintenance dept. at Stanley Furniture. He was member of Union Grove Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Patsy Berrier Louya who died April 13, 2013; two deceased sons, brother, Forrest Louya and a sister Doris Fortner.
Surviving are son, Tracy William Louya (Stephanie) of Lexington; daughters, Penny Wilson Louya of Lexington, Patriacia Louya Matlock (Chris) of Winston-Salem; sisters, Eldora House, Rettie Kepley, Effie Williams (John); brothers, Charlie Louya (Catherine) and Foyell Louya (Katherine); nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
