Johnny Wayne Martin

Johnny Wayne Martin, age 59 of Ave. K, Southmont died Monday, April 5, 2010 in Forsyth Medical Center. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, April 9, 2010 in DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL with Rev. Clyde Akers officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday at the Funeral Home. Mr. Martin was born April 14, 1950 in Davidson County to Rufus Martin and Lillie Bertha Martin Martin. A former employee of Furniture Land South, he was of the Methodist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his wife, Barbara Dean Martin of the home; two sons, Edward Lloyd Martin of Southmont, Kelly Ray Martin and wife, Dusti of Lexington; five grandchildren, Nicole Brooke Martin, Hannah Danielle Martin, Lillie Grace Martin, Chase Dorsett Martin, Jonathon Wayne Martin all of Lexington; two sisters, Ruby Livengood of Thomasville and Stella Howard of Lexington.
