Johnny Noah Mccarn

Johnny Noah McCarn, age 78 of East Center Street Ext. Lexington passed away Saturday morning September 24, 2016 at Hinkle Hospice House. Funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday September 27, 2016 at First Baptist church of Welcome with Revs. Mark Blair and Jonathan Goodman officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:30until 3:00 pm prior to the service and at other times at the home. Johnny was born in Davidson County, November 23, 1937 to Griffie Milton and Girlie Kate Broadway McCarn. He was a retired Millwright for American Can; member of First Baptist Church of Welcome and a veteran of the US Marine Corp. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Margaret Atkins and brothers, Jack, Richard, Harold and Leroy McCarn. Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Sharpe McCarn of the home; sons, J. Todd McCarn (Donna) of Winston Salem, S. Kris McCarn (Heather) of Welcome; grandchildren, Jacob Noah McCarn, Bobby Lucas McCarn, Sloan Alexis McCarn and Joshua Noah McCarn; sister, Willie Veigh Fitzgearls of Churchland.
