Johnny Edward Michael

Johnny Edward Michael, age 71 of NC Hwy 150, Lexington died Monday, November 24, 2008 in Wake Forest U. Baptist Medical Center.  A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, Nov. 28, 2008 at Reeds Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Ackerman officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.   Mr. Michael was born December 29, 1936 in Davidson county to John Richard Michael and Frankie Rummage Michael.  A retired employee of J & M Masonary, and Reeds Fire Dept.,   he was a member of Reeds Baptist Church.   Surviving are his wife, Josephine Barton Michael of the home; sons, Jeffrey Michael and wife, Linda, Tony Michael all of Lexington, granddaughter, Crystal Michael of Greensboro, brothers, Bobby Michael and wife, Maxine and Melvin Michael all of Lexington.   The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday at DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME and other times at the home.  Memorials may be directed to Reeds Baptist Church, 180 Reeds Baptist Church Rd., Lexington, NC 27295   Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
