Johnny Dean Starr

Johnny Dean Starr, 52, of Presnell Street, died Tuesday, February 11, 2014, at Hinkle Hospice House. The funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday, February 15, 2014, at Maranatha Baptist Church, with Pastor Thomas Todd officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Friday February 14, 2014, and other times at the home. Mr. Starr was born November 13, 1961, in Davidson County, to James Ronald Starr and Sallie Todd Starr. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a brother, Dwayne Starr. Surviving are his mother of Lexington; and sisters, Rhonda Starr of Lexington and Shelia Starr of Charlotte. The family would like to thank Hospice of Davidson County and Randolph Health and Rehab for all the love and care given to Johnny.
