Johnny Story

Johnny Alfred Story, 83, of Lexington went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, December 21, 2020 at his home.

A private funeral service will be held in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Clyde Akers officiating and will be streamed live at www.facebook.com/davidson.funeralhome . Entombment will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

Mr. Story was born in Davidson County on May 12, 1937 to James Thomas Story and Hattie Virginia Mauldin Story. He was a truck driver, having worked for Billings and was a loving husband, father and grandfather whose memory will be cherished forevermore. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Kay Thomason Story of the home; his children, Belinda Kay Story Wagner (Terry) of Lexington and John Kevin Story (Michelle) of Lincolnton; five grandchildren, Jason Story, Nelson Wagner (Samantha) Melissa Ketner (Steven), Brittany Weaver and Harley Sloan; and five great-grandchildren, Hunter, Jax, Calleigh, Addie and Maddie.
