Johnny "Tink" Humphrey

Johnny “Tink” Humphrey, age 62 of Lexington, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021 at his home in Lexington.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 16 ^th , at Forest Hill Memorial Park with Reverend Jerry Lubarsky officiating.  Visitation will be Monday, November 15th, at Davidson Funeral Home from 5-7 pm.

Johnny was born August 9, 1959, in Lexington, NC to Johnny Wayne Humphrey Sr. and Virginia Carol Whitman Humphrey Carter.  He was the owner and operator of South Main Astro Jet towing.  He loved his family, loved his work and a love for his old cars.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Carole Holder Humphrey; his son Thomas Matthew Humphrey (Brooke), and his adopted son and special friend, Jeff Hensley, both of Lexington. His brother Danny Shane Humphrey (Kerri), of Lexington; sisters, Pamela Maple (Clarence)  of Lexington and Cynthia Humphrey; and grandchildren Jace and Luke.
