Johnny Stanley Tussey

Johnny Stanley Tussey, age 73, of Lexington passed away Friday, December 16, 2016 at his home.   A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at Bethany United Methodist Church with the Revs. David Talbert and Benny Clodfelter officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.   The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm prior to the service in the fellowship hall.   Mr. Tussey was born on July 13, 1943 in Davidson County to Joseph Stanley Tussey and Margaret Hiatt Tussey. He was retired from Leggett and Platt and was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church. Mr. Tussey was preceded in death by his parents.   Surviving are his loving wife, Martha Stutts Tussey of the home; his son, Derek Tussey and wife Tammy; his daughter, Lori Hunt and husband Garry; a sister, Pam Ward all of Lexington; 4 grandchildren, Kelci Bishop (Ben), Josh Tussey (Courtney Roller), Katie Parker (Mike), and Kolby Hunt (Tara Leonard); and 3 great grandchildren, Madison Bishop, Mason Bishop, and Jordan Parker.   Memorials may be directed to Bethany United Methodist Church at 193 Bethany Road Lexington, NC 27292 or to Hospice of Davidson County at 200 Hospice Way Lexington, NC 27292.
