Johnny Mack Williams, age 76 of Meadow Lane, Lexington, Tyro community passed away Friday August 12, 2016 at his home, surrounded by his family There will be no funeral service, however the family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Monday evening, August 15, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm. Johnny was born in Cabarrus County, February 5, 1940 to Claude Marshall and Anna Belle Melton Williams. He was a retired truck driver for Legett and Platt. He was preceded in death by his parents; and daughter, Tammy Williams Allen. Johnny was beloved by many, and was an amazing husband, father, grandfather and friend. Surviving are his loving wife, Mary Johnson Williams of the home; three sons, Jeffery Scott Williams of Tyro, Johnny Shane Williams (Lisa) of Linwood and Darren Keith Williams (Amber) of Jacksonville, FL; 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Betsy Johnson of Tyro; half-brother, Larry McKenzie of Thomasville.
