Jonathan David Everhart, age 23 of Weisner Street, Lexington (Welcome Community) passed away Monday. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday (10-26-2008) at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Carl Lindquist and Dr. Jim Martin. Burial will follow in Waughtown Cemetery.
Jonathan was born in Rowan County, August 15, 1985 to Roy Franklin Everhart, Jr and Phyllis Jones Everhart. He attended Central Davidson and North Davidson Schools, and was employed by Willard’s Waterproofing Company. He was a sports enthusiast and NASCAR
Fan. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rev. and Mrs. Archie Jones and Roy F. Everhart, Sr.
Surviving are: mother, Phyllis Jones Smith of Lexington; father, Roy F. “Bud” Everhart of Lexington; brothers, Timothy Everhart, Philip Everhart and Ransom Hinkle all of Lexington; paternal grandmother, Peggy Everhart of Lexington; aunts and uncles, Carolyn Wooten and husband Lorien, Forrest Jones and wife Debbie, Donnie Jones, Tonya Everhart and Bing Everhart.
The family will receive friends Friday night from 6-8 pm at Davidson Funeral Home and at other times at the home Scott and Phyllis Smith, 283 Lumnia Drive, Lexington.
