Jonathan Wayne Garrett, a beloved father, son, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 7th, 2025.  Born on Sunday, February 16th, 1969, in High Point, North Carolina, Jonathan lived a life full of kindness, dedication, and skill.

Jonathan was known for his passion and expertise as an auto mechanic, a career he pursued with unwavering commitment and skill. Those who knew him will remember his willingness to help, his quick wit, and his love for working with his hands.

He leaves behind a loving family who cherished him deeply. Jonathan is survived by his father, Claude Garrett Jr.; his daughter, Heather Garrett, and her husband, Austin Malone. He also leaves behind his brothers, Jason Garrett, Timothy Garrett, and Anthony Garrett, and his sisters, Teresa Eddinger, Tammy Linville, and Sarah Perryman. Jonathan was a proud grandfather to four beautiful grandchildren, Karlie Malone, Ava Malone, Olivia Malone, and Nathan Malone.

He is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Virginia Lawson Garrett, who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms.

A private celebration of Jonathan's life will be held by his family. Arrangements are provided by Davidson Funeral Home, ensuring Jonathan's final farewell reflects the warmth and love he brought into the world.

Those who had the pleasure of knowing Jonathan will forever hold his memory close to their hearts, remembering a man who lived life fully and with an unyielding love for those around him. Jonathan's legacy will continue to live on through his family and the countless lives he touched.
