Joseph Cooper

Joseph Ray Cooper, age 40, of Lexington passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017 at his home.   A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday December 20, 2017 at Freedom Baptist church with Pastor Clyde Akers officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.    The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home.   Joseph was born on May 16, 1977 in Charleston County, SC to Kenneth Allen Cooper and Peggy Suzanne Everhart. He attended Freedom Baptist Church and was employed with Merchant’s Tire and Automotive.   Surviving are his father, Kenneth Allen Cooper of Lexington; mother, Peggy Suzanne Everhart of Lexington; brother, Richard Cooper (Travis Wall) of Winston Salem; sisters, Amanda Hill (Ronnie) of the home, Julie St. John (Victor St John, Jr.) of Kittrell, NC; nieces and nephews, Victor St. John, III, Sarah St. John, John St. John, Joseph St. John, Zana Hill and Elijah Hill.   Memorials may be made to Freedom Baptist Church, PO Box 1242, Lexington, NC 27293
