Joseph Lee Jarrett, 39, of Lexington passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at home.

A funeral service will be held at 3 pm on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at First Assembly of God with Pastor Vernon Richmeier officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakdale Baptist Church Cemetery in Spencer.

The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 7 pm on Saturday, November 7, 2020 outside at Davidson Funeral home in Lexington. Due to the covid-19 pandemic, guests will be asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Mr. Jarrett was born in Davidson County on October 1, 1981 to Mark Kendall Jarrett and Cynthia Lynn Sisk. He was an assembler, having worked for United Furniture and was a loving man whose memory will be cherished forevermore. He was preceded in death by his mother, Cynthia Lynn Sisk; and two grandfathers, Lacy Lee Jarrett, and Elmer Leslie Sisk.

Left to cherish his memory are his father, Mark Kendall Jarrett and stepmother Vickie Lynn Jarrett of Lexington; his son, Lukas Zane Jarrett of SC; a sister, Elizabeth “Beth” Jarrett Shell of Lexington; a step-sister, Amanda Kaye Walters of Lexington; his grandmothers, Barbara Call Jarrett, and Frankie Yvonne Sisk both of Lexington; two nephews, Dre Shell and Hayden Shell; a niece, Taylor Shell; and a host of extended family who loved him dearly.
