Joseph Spagnardi

Joseph Louis Spagnardi, 52, a resident of Lexington, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born on May 31 ^st , 1969 in Essex County, New Jersey to Joseph C. and Emily Spagnardi. Joe attended Rutgers University, and graduated from Gardner-Webb University. He was employed with Jeld-Wen in North Wilkesboro.

Joe was a member of CrossPoint Church, where he taught Sunday school and helped open the service. He was an avid golfer, playing at least once or twice every week. He also officiated baseball games and coached the Miracle League in High Point for many years.

Joe is survived by his wife of 27 years, Martha Sink Spagnardi, and daughter Sydney Spagnardi (Nick Hill); parents Joseph and Emily Spagnardi; brothers Darren and Michael Spagnardi (Regina); and two nephews and four nieces.

A funeral service will be conducted Sunday, September 12, 2021 at CrossPoint Church in Lexington. The family will greet friends at the church for a viewing beginning at 1:00 PM, followed by a service at 2:00PM. Interment will follow the service at Shiloh United Methodist Church in Lexington.
