Joseph Donald Staley

Joseph (Joe) Donald Staley, age 66, of Lexington, NC passed away on February 18, 2025 at his home.

He was preceded in death by his parents Dock H. Staley and Mary Jean Coffey Staley, brother Marcus Clay, sister-in-law Donna Clay and a niece Melissa Jean Smith. Joe was born in Lexington, NC. He grew up in Lexington, NC, and attended Lexington Senior High School, Davidson Community College and Rowan Technical Institute. He was employed by PPG/NEG in Lexington, NC for an extended period of time. He enjoyed collecting old radios, clocks and lamps, loved old cars, camping, traveling and spending time with family and friends. He was a true friend to many and was always willing to help anyone in need. He often spent his money buying and fixing things for family, friends and sometimes even a stranger.

He is survived by sisters, Donna Miller (Carson), Cynthia Staley, brother Paul Staley (Michelle), nephews Josh Hall (Jessi), Christian Staley, Nicholas Staley, Jonathan Staley (Amber), Timothy Hall, and Brian Miller, niece, Ashley Hall (Nikola), great nieces, Eden Hall, Mira Glogovac and great nephews Ethan Hall, Oliver Glogovac and many cousins and friends.

Per Joe's request, there will be no formal service. In his memory, the family requests that all of his friends and loved ones pay it forward with random acts of kindness, much as what Joe did during his life.
