Joseph William Wagner, 43, of Coree Drive, passed away Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012, at Wake Forest Baptist Health — Lexington Medical Center.
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Salisbury National Cemetery by the Rev. Patrick Marion with military rites by Davidson County Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home.
A memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Saturday at Brushfork Baptist Church in Bluefield, W.Va.
Joseph was born April 28, 1969, in Mercer County, W.Va., to William Wagner and Brenda Wimmer Wagner. He had worked for Norfork Southern Railroad before his illness and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army, serving tours in Panama and Desert Storm.
Surviving are his wife, Lisa Fulford Wagner of the home; sons Cameron Wagner of West Virginia and Christian Wagner of Florida; daughter Autumn Wagner of Lexington; stepchildren Jacob Reynolds and Lauren Reynolds, both of Lexington; his parents of West Virginia; a brother, Billy Wayne Wagner and his wife, GiGi, of Virginia; and two sisters, Stacy Jones and her husband, Jon, of Virginia and Krystal Leedy and her husband, Jonce, of Virginia.

Honorary pallbearers will be Cameron Wagner and Christian Wagner. Pallbearers will be Jonce Leedy, Jon Jones, Brandon Crews, Jeremy Crews, Ken Henson, Jacob Sheppard and Bill Earp.
