Josephine Hall Ingram, 82, of Lexington died Monday, February 4, 2013, at her home.
The funeral will be 1 p.m. Thursday, February 7, 2013, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Billy Pearson and Bill Hicks officiating. Burial will follow in Crestview Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service and other times at the home.
Mrs. Ingram was born September 9, 1930, in Wilkes County, to Alphonso Vincent Hall and Mary Robena Woody Hall. She retired from Brown and Williamson Tobacco Company and was a member of Stoner’s Grove Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Ingram, who died December 31, 2008.
Surviving are her son, Charles Ingram of Lexington; daughter, Debbie Samuels and husband Gary of Winston-Salem; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; brother, Tom Hall and wife Edna of North Wilkesboro; sister, Alice Shives of Winston-Salem; and sister-in-law, Zeta Beamon of Winston-Salem.
