Josephine Poole

Josephine Idell Laws Ensley Poole, 74, of Lexington Health Care and formerly of Uphill Drive, died Sunday, Jan. 29, 2006, at Lexington Memorial Hospital. There will be no service, however the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Tuesday, at Davidson Funeral Home. Mrs. Poole was born May, 27, 1931, to Clinton Thomas Laws and Amanda DeHart Laws. She was the "baby" of 12 children born in the family. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers and sisters. Surviving are one son, Perry Dewey Ensley and his wife, Betsy, of Gurtin, N.C.; one daughter, Patricia Partin and her husband, Garry, of Lexington; eight grandchildren, Nathan Ensley, Michelle Ensley, Courtney Ensley, Michael Ensley, Melissia Ensley, Amanda Partin, Terry Partin and Kimberly Trantham; one brother, Bill Laws of Churchland; and one sister, Ida Calhoun of Churchland.
