Joyce Clanton Bell

Joyce  Clanton Bell, age 67 of Richard Road, Lexington passed away Saturday afternoon March 11, 2017 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem.  A celebration of her life will be held at 5:00 PM Wednesday in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Clyde Akers officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.  Joyce was born in LaPorte, Indiana August 28, 1949 to Mack Wilford Clanton and Bonnie Fletcher Clanton. She was a retired employee of Hospice of Davidson County. She was preceded in death by her parents.  Surviving are her daughter, Donna Cox Gallimore of Lexington; her son, Ronnie Cox of Lexington; 3 grandchildren, Amy Cox, Joshua Watts and Brittany Cox; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Cliff Clanton of Wade, NC, step-brother, Roman Dickt of LaPorte, Indiana and her special friend and Companion, Sam Davis and niece, Cayla Clanton.
