Joyce Story Kirk

Joyce Story Kirk age 81 of NC Highway 47, Lexington passed away Thursday evening December 3, 2020 at home surrounded by her loving family.

There will be no formal services held.

Joyce was born in Davidson County on September 2, 1939 to Randel Dumas Story and Mary Edith Mitchell Story. She was a member of Second Presbyterian Church and a retired employee of PPG. She was preceded in death by her husband James Thomas Kirk and a grandson, Nelson Millard.

Surviving are her son, James Stacy Kirk and wife Laura of Lexington; daughters, Selena Kirk Bryant of King, NC and Pamela Kirk Sowers and husband Ronnie of North Wilkesboro; grandchildren, Bradley Huffman, Jamie Chatman, Jeremy King, Cory, Casey and Christian Kirk; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Tanger Story Young and Brenda Hegler both of Lexington; brother, Randy Story  and wife Margaret of Lexington.
