Joyce Church Maready

Joyce Church Maready, age 68 of Oakview Road, Linwood passed away Wednesday (Dec. 16, 2009) at Hinkle Hospice Home. A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm Sunday, (December 27, 2009) at North Lexington Baptist Church with Dr. Robert Floyd officiating. Joyce was born in Rowan County, February 22, 1941 to Stanley Charles Church and Flaval Phillips Church. She was a former employee of Coates Communications and a member of North Lexington Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are; husband, Morrison Maready of the home; two daughters, Terri Bailey and husband Keith and Sonia Morris all of Lexington; one son, Jimmy C. "Butch" Flynn, Jr. and wife Anna of Laurel Maryland; seven grandchildren and three grandchildren; one sister, Jessie Morris and husband Jim of The Villages, Florida. The family will receive friends at the church from 2:00 until 3:00 pm prior to the service.
