Melton, who died June 18, 2006.   Surviving are a daughter, Linda M. Perryman and husband, Hoyle Gene; son, David W. McBride and wife, Georgiann; two step-sons, Bill Melton and wife, Leah, of Kernersville, and David Melton and wife, Sena, of Welcome; three grandsons, Andrew H. Perryman and wife, Bettie, Russell W. Perryman and wife, Nancy, and Timothy W. McBride; step-grandson, Clint Melton of Kernersville; step-granddaughter, Melissa Melton of Kernersville; two great-grandsons, Travis L. Haga Jr. and Luke T.
