Joyce Reeves Queen, age 78 of Barrett Drive, Lexington passed away Tuesday June 12, 2018 at Rowan Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Friday, June 15, 2018 at Amazing Grace Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Bowen officiating. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Thursday night. Also a visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Friday night at Macon Funeral Home in Franklin, NC. A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday at the Roper Cemetery in Franklin. Joyce was born in Macon county, NC August 27, 1939 to Glenn B. Reeves and Willa Mae Childers Reeves. She was a homemaker and a member of Amazing Grace Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack Edward Queen in 1996 and a sister Shirley Reeves Drinnon. Surviving are her daughters, Patricia Queen of the home and Tammy Wall of Lexington; sons, Steven E. Queen (Valerie) and Patrick J.
